Best of one should say, and speak on what an artist is, which meets with his interpretation and perception. The clarity of language delivery, its presentation and skills are able to reach others only when there is a bridge, connecting different souls with remarkable approach to the chosen medium, which can be an art, which can be anything that swings with presence of the self. An Art is always from the heart that one should experience. Art is the inner joy of an artist, who feels its vibration, its presence generating Goosebumps on to the viewers! I personally being a dancer, being an artist, was melt in the arms of dance, music and the spirit.

22^nd August 2011, a day when I found a student in me with the blissful performance by a lovely couple. I was silent, with no words to express my gratitude to those lovely loving couples for the evening in Prashanti! It’s my friend Parshwanath S. Upadhye and gorgeous shruti Gopal whose feet’s are tied with the love and affection of Lord himself! Art comes with dedication, which includes practice, commitment and understanding the whole of it”. This is definitely a key for their success.

There was an amalgamation of aesthetic s, Music, dance and the presence. The chemistry between them drew the whole gathering to a state of silence! Define characteristic according to the requirement, the subtlety, its delicate identity with their expression reached the audience with no doubt! Sharp eyes, crisp movements were dynamic and continuous. All the compositions were enjoyed well but Composition Hanuman stood being one of the best of Parshwanath ‘s solo. This was widely appreciated and accepted well.

It was indeed an immense pleasure watching Shruti in Lasya performing here best with vivid techniques and skillful expressions to sharp parshwanth’s tandava.

Stone Manuscripts...

Orphaned stone Manuscript at Sriramadevarakatte


A temple like structure build with two stone manuscripts left uncared and two inside the structure.

A manual system that was being used centuries ago by the kings and leaders to give an account of description about their work , prosperity , rule, extension, treasure, denotations, constructional work and so on…which was widely popular among most of the kingdoms in the world! And was believed, as one of the most efficient and convenient way to record anything mentioned above!

Manuscript

Different medium were used by the sculptor or the artist to create a manuscript, A medium can be any hard material like, stone, metallic sheets, palm leaf, leather or wooden slabs, on which the writing or images were chiseled or written or scratched using a metal or a sharp edged knife or a chisel, or natural extracted colors.

Popular medium to create a manuscript

Most popular medium used was mostly stone, leather and palm leaf. Though stones being one of the hardest medium, skilled and well trained sculptor were ordered to create, as it was easy to store the content written on it for years. Different stage by stage procedure were used depending upon the medium used by sculptor.

Where can we see or find them?

The manuscripts are widely seen all over the ancient temple complex, or at archeological survive areas. Today mostly at the popular museums all over the world!

Orphaned stone manuscripts

As a matter of fact, in India today we find hundred’s of them left uncared or thrown away or neglected. Most of them are being used by the rural people as supporting slabs for their sitting areas, some use them for house foundations or some blindly worship. Archeological departments need to focus more on restoring these manuscripts by collecting them from various parts restoring them, which will help historians to come out with rarer facts and unknown secrets of past rulers and kingdoms.

As every year, something that attracts most of the tourist, most of the gardener’s, birds and flies, Lovers, Admirers, , nature lovers to the heavens of seasonal flowers and plants! Some thing that keeps one’s eyes busy and occupied with the aesthetics of Nature’s creation, which is an inspiration to most of poets, writers, artist and garden lovers, equally a place that deserves an appreciation with soul!

Yes dear friends, I am an artist, I am a gardener, I am poetic, I am a writer, I am an admirer and a nature lover too! Besides a tourist who loves traveling to the parallel lands of lovely colors, that is always been attracting me since I was a child! Been strongly inspired by mother and her love to gardening, which took decades of understanding the bonding between me and them, which took years on learning on how to do it ,Which is healing me every moment, which has kept sharing the joy and happiness of every moment! What more could be joyful than a whole day’s feast enjoying the land of greens and colors! Bangalooru Lalbhag flower show! Just can’t express the joy in words, but it’s an experience to be experienced!

There was a vast collection of flowers from different corners of India! Roses, carnations, lilies, orchids, anthoriums, Violets, Heliconias, Marigold’s, Azaleas, seasonal flowers, cascombs, bottle brush, Geraniums, cactus, lithops, Canscadiums, gladiolus, golden showers, Begonias, maples, Ferns and more… to see.

Well decorated Glass house with a structure of Lotus temple situated in Delhi was made using White carnations and roses! Which was the star attraction. Had more contemporary arrangement of flowers all over, with Japanese styles of flower arrangements, bonsai’s and more….

I was thrilled and lost in the shrine greens and colors! Which reminds me of a poem by Jessica S. Audet which speaks of inspiration by flowers and the it goes this way…

Mother Nature’s Way with Words Mother Nature spoke today. I sat and listened to what she had to say. Her words of wisdom were so strong. Made me realize I should do what’s right, never wrong. The Earths deep voice spoke aloud to me, Do not weep young child, leave that to me. For that little one, is the job of my weeping willow tree. The winds soft cry, rang in my ears, Your love and beauty will go on for years. Where you will go others will follow, Your thoughts are deep, never hollow. The birds’ sweet song, I needed to hear, Always go on, live without fear, For one day you'll get to know, The wisdom and wonder of the owl and crow. The gentle smell of the flowers gave me inspiration. Made me see I need to go full out, total dedication. I need to show others how I choose to be. And by doing so, I'll bring out the flower in me. The mysterious waters of the ocean, so deep. To believe is to feel, to hold is to keep. Little girl, one of many others. Pass on your wisdom to your sisters and brothers. The suns powerful ways, so fierce and strong, Brings everything together in Mother Nature’s beautiful song. Everyone and everything in this world plays its own part, May my laughter and brightness of many years, find its special path to your wounded heart. Always go forth; there is plenty to see, And if you need a light in your darkness, Well, just leave that to me.

A Book that drives me away from this world, which I personally value and respect, with which I learnt the importance of the language and its essence in my life.

I find it very difficult to write about the content in the book that has to offer us, but tried my best by trans language, using the original text and patterns, with the texts supporting the Article.

" Bhashe bari manusyana bhavanegalanna vyktapadisuvidilla,matrubhashe avana hinnelle, avana bhootakaala, Beldubanda haadi, avana samskruti,sampradaaya mattu samskaragalanna etti idiyuttade".

" Language is not just an expression of feelings or emotions , a mother tongue gives an understanding about one's history, life, hist past, path of growth, his values for culture and tradition, conventions and manners".

The Siribhoovalaya (ಸಿರಿಭೂವಲಯ) is a unique work of multi-lingual literatureKumudendu Muni, a Jain monk. The work is unique in that it employs not alphabets, but is composed entirely in Kannada numerals.The Saangathyametre of Kannada poetry is employed in the work. It uses numerals 1 through 64 and employs various patterns or bandhas in a frame of 729 (27×27) squares to represent alphabets in nearly 18 scripts and over 718 languages. Some of the patterns used include the Chakrabandha, Hamsabandha, Varapadmabandha, Sagarabandha, Sarasabandha, Kruanchabandha, Mayurabandha, Ramapadabandha, Nakhabandha, etc. As each of these patterns are identified and decoded, the contents can be read. written by

The work is said to have around 600,000 verses, nearly 6 times as big as the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata. Totally there are 26 chapters constituting it a big volume of which only three have been decoded. The author expounds that many philosophies which existed in the Jain classics are eloquently and skillfully interpreted in the work. It is also claimed to consist of works in several languages including Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Prakrit, Sanskrit, etc., apart from Kannada. Different languages can be realized by assigning different alphabets to different numbers. All the major works in Sanskrit like the Ramayana, Mahabharata, the Vedas and the Upanishads are said to be present in the text and can be unraveled with further deciphering of the code.

It is also believed to contain valuable information about various sciences including physics, astronomy, medicine, history, space travel, etc. Karlamangalam Srikantaiah, the editor of the first edition, has claimed that the work contains instructions for travel in water and space travel. It is also said that the work contains information about the production of modern weapons.

Though written in Kannada its numerical enunciation enables the people of other languages to comprehend it in a lucid manner. It is said that all arts, literature are entwined in a total of 718 languages enmeshed in a mathematical and scientific canvas thus regarding the work as highly magnificent and amazing.

The languages that are decoded till date are:

Praakruta,Geervaana,Telugu,Tamil,Apabramsha,Shooraseeni,Maagadhi, Ardhamaagadhi,Paali. Many researches are working hard to decode most of its texts which are in numerical codes, But are not been easy. These decodes gives an idea about, the amount of knowledge and hold that monk Kumudendu had not only in languages but also on science and mathematics.

It puts light on giving information that Brahim could be the mother of all languages those days, which were widely used and practiced during the rule of King Rishabnath.( First theerthanakara among 24 Theerthankaras in Jainism )

In the above lines poet discusses about the number of language that he has used in the work. Further he continues comparing the quality , emotions and essence of the languages that are tied and associated with with kannada with the calculations.( Inline Citation) concludes with the lines "18 main primary languages and 700 other are secondary sub-languages, with respect from my deep heart, I write this Bhuvalaya.
